Information for patients

You have been referred to our clinic by one of your physicians/clinicians for Electrodiagnostic consultation and testing (Drs Leblond, Deng, Gumbs, and Partyka)

EMG (Electromyography) and NCS (Nerve conduction studies) are techniques used to assess the function of your muscles and peripheral nerves. These studies will help determine whether symptoms of numbness, tingling, pain, and weakness are caused by a nerve or muscle disease. The tests are well tolerated and are fully covered by Provincial Health Care programs

For further information regarding these studies, you can watch the video on this page entitled "What to Expect: EMG and Nerve Conduction Studies"

Should you have questions regarding your appointment please call our Medical Office Assistants at 4038005596 or email us at
